Bukit Genting Thai Food is not only famous for it Thai food instead it already become one of the tourist attraction in Penang, it is high above sea level and from there you can have a great view of Penang.
It got big parking space in front of the restaurant and big compound for various decoration.
Driving up the hill is a challenge and advisable to drive bigger cc car, 4×4 is recommended. Beside the narrow road is durian farm, if you are lucky you may pickup one or two from road side but please make sure there is no dog or owner around else you will be caught. Just kidding, it private farm and you should not pick up even it at road side as those are for sale.
You will be caught if steal, so buy instead of steal as the price is pretty cheap there.

Bukit Genting Thai Restaurant surrounding is nicely decorated with plan and statue.
Recommended to reach there around 4.30pm, where you can enjoy sunset and taking some nice photo.
You can stay overnight here as well by renting the Chalets but I doubt tourist like to stay there for overnight as nothing much to do except providing buffet for mosquito.
Kitchen is also well decorated.

Alright, enough of scenery sharing and time for food sharing.
Kerabu Mango RM10 is very appetite, great start for the meal. It would be good if the mango use was not that mature.
Claypot Prawn RM19, glass noodle cook with fresh prawn, fresh prawn without shell is kind of easy to consume and the glass noodle absorbing the sauce making very flavorful.
Tom Yam Prawn RM21, the sour and spicy tom yam soup is very delicious, we love it very much.
Kana in oyster sauce and salted fish RM10
Pandan Chicken RM1.50 each, the pandan chicken is quite dry.
Plak Rad Prik (Deep Fried Fish), fish is deep fried and top with sweet and sour sauce.
Tab Tim Grob (Waterchesnut with Jack Fruit) RM2.00,
When we finish our meal, it already dark at night and all light started to lighten up.
Reminder to avoid driving up the hill at night or raining day, it will be very dangerous if you driving skill is not good enough as the visibility is low and road is narrow.
