Poon Choi and Claypot Crab Rice at HoHo Food World Seafood Restaurant

It been very long time since our last visit to Tambun, today we heading down to Tambun to try HoHo Food World Seafood Poon Choi and some other interesting dishes. HoHo Food World located at the very end of Tambun seafood street, it the last shop hence not much people know about it.
Greet by the owner Henry, he is a very nice person that share with us his background and why he setup this restaurant. From our conversation we know that Henry is working on manufacturing line but himself is very picky on food selection hence he decide to take over this restaurant 8months ago and working his best to deliver the best seafood to customer. On top of that, HoHo Food World is pork free restaurant and he is working hard to get Halal status, he is trying to deliver the best seafood dishes not to only Chinese instead to everyone else that came into Tambun.

Poon Choi also known as big bowl feast where precious ingredients cook in one big bowl, it has many layer and each layer come with surprise.
First layer is all the most precious ingredients such as Abalone, Prawn and Scallop, second layer has item such as dry oyster, mushroom, abalone slice, sea cucumber and fish bladder, moving down one layer is duck meat and chicken meat, last layer is vegetable like cabbage, carrot and white radish
If you notice that it came without pork, simply because this restaurant is pork free hence they replace it with chicken but the taste is the same as normal Poon Choi.
We enjoy this dish as it truly awesome, the taste is extremely delicious. Generous on all ingredients provided, high in quality and fresh, the preparation work as well is very complete where all ingredients are all well presented and the best part is all the ingredients match each other so well.

After the big bowl of Poon Choi, Claypot Crab is served. We ate at Cia Xiang Seafood Restaurant before and now we can make the comparison, Claypot Crab here taste better as it much more moisture compare to the other shop, as well the crab is bigger and the rice is more flavorful.
