Dessert shop is the next trend to replace Starbuck or Coffee Bean or Secret Recipe or Baskin Robbins? Penang is heavily influence by Taiwan dessert as lately a lot of dessert shop landed and selling Toro, Toro, Toro and Toro. Well it is no doubt very interesting and delicious dessert that everyone in love with. We went to Strait Quay and found this shop name “Bing Bing Taiwanese Dessert House”.
There is step by step guide teach you how to place your order, well it is actually one simple step that is write down what you want and pay at counter then one small medal will be given.
While waiting for our dessert to get ready, let play around with the medal.
We ordered Taro Ball + Glutinous Rice Ball + Barley RM6.90, it is pretty standard price for this type of dessert.
Pretty big bowl of dessert with ingredients as stated above and our focus is definitely the awaiting Taro Ball, well the Taro Ball taste just normal as we can’t taste the Yam flavor in it which is the most important ingredients.
The dessert soup based is Ginger flavor which has very strong Ginger flavor and not too sweet which is my favorite.
Glutinous Rice Ball is not bad as the dessert served in hot which help to maintain the softness of glutinous rice ball.
Bing Bing Dessert House dessert is not bad and I like the ginger soup very much. You can join our Facebook community Taste…iest to keep yourself updated on all the latest from Taste...iest.
