Ding Charcoal BBQ & Steamboat Buffet is another new restaurant at Strait Quay, we bought Online Voucher for RM27.80 per pax, which is very reasonable as it is much more cheaper than normal price and it is buffet style with 90 over dishes.
Ding Charcoal operated using Sushi King style where food served on conveyor belt, ingredients are fully loaded on conveyor belt and they even stacking up.
As picture shown above there is two different type of cooking method served, steamboat and BBQ style.
Utensil provided are black solid.
The 90 over ingredient such as fish, fish balls, crab, crab meat, prawn, meat balls, sausages, mushroom, chicken, pork, beef, mushroom, sweet corn, bean curds, egg, bird eggs, seaweed, cabbage…etc.
I like the small portion serving on conveyor belt, small portion serving allow us to try many different ingredients.
BBQ crab, the crab is rather small but at least it is fresh and sweet.
My favorite of the night is definitely the lamb, well marinated with sweet sauce given a very tasty flavor.
Shabu Shabu, we finish almost 5 plate of this, it is pretty delicious and fresh.
Another favorite way of cooking clam is BBQ it, whenever it open up which mean it cook, juicy and delicious. The scallop is too small for BBQ as it shrink to become very small so the better way is to steamboat it.
Next also my favorite marinated meat roll, perfectly marinated with sauce and it taste extremely good.
Salmon is thick cut but not fresh, too bad.
Finish our meal with fresh fruit and dessert.
It worth the value the ingredients is fresh and well presented, tom yam soup is delicious, one thing lack of is the sauce provided.
