Asiatique The Riverfront is a new tourist attraction that newly setup and it started to get crowded. Business started around 4pm local time until midnight, there is lot of shop selling various item and restaurant serving different kind of cuisine as well.
How to go? The easiest way is to take Free Shuttle Boat from Central Pier, the free shuttle service operating time from 4pm until 11.30pm and departure every 15minute. You may get to Central Pier by using Chao Phraya Boat or BTS Saphan Taksin.
Asiatique The Riverfront consist of more than 1,500 boutiques selling clothes, souvenir, textiles, accessories…etc. Restaurant wise you can get Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian…etc cuisine from the many restaurant.
There is Ferries Wheel that is currently under constuction and I do believe it should be ready very soon.
Our intention to visit Asiatique The Riverfront is to enjoy Calypso Cabaret show.
We bought the ticket from Mama Tour for $600 include one drink, if you bought it online or at the counter it going to cost $1200. I got the receipt from Mama Tour when we visit Ayuthaya and I show the receipt at counter to claim my seat number.
The Calypso Cabaret show daily at 8.15pm and 9.45pm.
The seat arrangement is pretty good, we are the first few row but slightly off to the side. Once you are in the theather immediately the waitress will ask you what drink you want and they will prepare it for you.
The show started, be silent and enjoy the show.
The show end after around 1hour and we are truely impress by their performance. We can really see their handwork and effort to deliver the best show.
After the show finish you can take photo with the presenter for a small fees.
That conclude Day 4 activity, we take the free shuttle back to Center Pier and take BTS back to Hotel.
