Yee Sang is a must for Chinese during Chinese New Year, tossing the ingredients high mean better luck in the coming year. In ordered to get better fortune you need to speak good word loud and toss high so that you will be award with better fortune and luck. Eastin Hotel offer Fresh Salmon Yee Sang for take away which cost RM68++ and RM88++.
Fresh salmon Yee Sang, it has over 10 types of ingredients forming colorful tone and whole lot of fresh salmon in the middle.
Everyone is happy tossing Yee Sang and saying out loud their wishes.
Marinated jellyfish with shredded chicken, springy jellyfish mix with shredded chicken dressing with sweet and sour sauce, it a little bit dry but taking with other food is still not bad.
Roasted duck rolled with spring roll skin and mix vegetables such as carrot, cucumber, spring onion. Ingredients are then rolled together in popiah skin, it served with dedicated sauce to help enhance it flavor.
Double boiled black chicken with snow pears soup, the soup is rich in flavor and a hint of sweetness from snow pears making it taste very delicious, it is perfectly good combination to take with rice.
Steamed seabass with superior sauce, thick cut of seabass steamed with good quality of soy sauce making the fresh seabass taste even better.
Braised Chinese cabbage with “Fat Choi” black moss and dried oyster, various type of mushroom cook together with cabbage and the most important is “Fat Choi” use in this dish, “Fat Choi” in Cantonese mean getting rich. “Fat Choi” is a symbolic ingredients use in Chinese cuisine during Chinese New Year.
Stir fried tiger prawn with golden pumpkin sauce, the prawn is very big and fresh, very solid texture with a little bit of golden pumpkin sauce making it taste good.
Double boiled papaya with fresh milk, it has pretty strong milk flavor and smooth to be drink for me as I like the papaya taste with milk in hot.
Baked mandarin orange cheese cake, the cheese cake itself is very delicious, it not too soft, it has the right amount of cheese flavor and a thin layer of sour jelly on top making it delicious.
