We have long heard the famous name “Isaribi Tei” but only recently we step into the restaurant. The restaurant is located at Jalan Chow Thye which is quite hidden as it not easily spotted from the main road instead you have to drive into the small road to get into this restaurant. You may park at the food court at the back of the restaurant and claim back parking fees. The restaurant is very old style where most of the table and chair are wood, surrounding decoration are made from wood as well while at the back got a small garden. I like the ambiance very much as it make us feel relax and enjoy.
King Prawn Maki RM30, you will be surprise by the super big prawn use served on table, the king prawn is super big in size and extremely fresh. Maki wrapped with deep fried king prawn and cucumber, it has very crunchy texture while natural sweetness from the king prawn. We really enjoy eating the big king prawn maki.
Sashimi, Tempura, Sushi and Spicy Soba Bento RM35, a bento set contain everything. The salmon sashimi is very fresh and sweet, tempura vegetable is perfectly cook and the sushi is as delicious. Spicy soba is quite special to us as we never eat soba that taste spicy, it taste as plain as it suppose to be and the cold soba is just delicious.
Beef Tataki RM25, beef grilled to perfection then thin sliced and served on top of vegetable, it served with steamed rice. The beef is well cook and presentable on table, thin cook surface while raw inside. I would not say it melt on mouth but a few soft bite is enough to melt it, it doesn’t need any sauce as well instead the original beef flavor is good enough. I never eat slice beef like this before and I truly love it.
