Last just month we visited Eastin Hotel to enjoy Ramadhan Buffet and in August Eastin Hotel going to have “Wonderful Indonesia” Buffet. The buffet emphasized on authentic Indonesian cuisine from all over Indonesia. Starting from 1-31 August 2015 every weekdays from 12noon to 2.30pm “Wonderful Indonesia Buffet” will be served with the price of just RM66 nett for adult and RM33 nett for children, senior citizen entitled to 50% discount.
Satay Ayam, nicely marinated chicken satay which is great in flavor and soft while it still hot. Dipping with the provided peanut sauce is just nice.
Perkadel is actually potato cake mixed with assorted herbs and deep fried to golden color.
Sayur Lontong Dengan Sambal Ikan Bilis, cabbage and glass noodle cook in Indonesia yellow curry that has strong coconut milk flavor.
Sop Buntun is traditional Malay soup that are made from ox tail, cook for long hour together with potato and carrot to create the sweet flavor.
Fried Catfish, nicely marinated catfish deep fried to crunchy texture is just awesome, it has pretty much the same flavor as we had at Rung Reang Thai Food Restaurant.
Nasi Goreng Ikan, what a great flavor of fried rice.
Beef Rendang Jawa, personally we found the beef to be a little be hard and chewy but the rendang sauce is really flavorful.
Gado-Gado is Indonesia salad or locally we call it Pasembur where assorted vegetable are mixed with peanut sauce.
Bakso is chicken soup noodle with chicken ball, the soup taste sweet and adding on deep fried shallot making it taste good.
Homemade Apom Cawan is pretty much like Chinese dessert but it has very firm texture compare to Chinese version.
Indonesia Layer Cake, nicely crafted layer cake which is moist and fluffy but a little bit too sweet for us.
Es Teler, combination of fresh mango with coconut milk.
Pisang Goreng Dengan Coklat Dan Keju, deep fried banana top with chocolate and cheese. Personally I found this to be the best dessert as the cheese saltiness goes very well with banana sweet and sourness while chocolate add on bitter taste making it just perfect.
On top of above signature Indonesia authentic cuisine there will be some other standard buffet dishes as well, I am pretty sure you will get fill. Make your reservation now before it fully booked.
