As food hunter we should never miss any opportunity for new food, during lunch time for my training I patrolling around KL Golden Triangle and found this Chin Kee Pan Mee which located inside Wisma Cosway where peoples are waiting during lunch time, was it good? Yes it is, Taste…iest Tips is always follow the crowd then you will never wrong.
A bowl of Dry Pan Mee cost RM5.50, Pan Mee is dough made flat flour noodle which boiled to cook and season with pork minced black sauce, ikan bilis, vegetable and black fungus. Strong taste from the black sauce give rich flavor to overall dish and extra saltiness from deep fried dry ikan bilis while the vegetable and black fungus given extra chewing texture
Egg and Vegetable which cost RM0.80 and RM1.00 cooked in broth, it a good companion for the dry pan mee.
Most important is the Pork Ball which cost RM0.80 each, it pretty expensive but when you saw the 50cent coin size Pork Ball it definitely worth the value, it return higher value after first bite where big chunk of meat with some dry cuttlefish in it making it taste so delicious.
It was one of the best lunch I ate for the 5 days training in KL.

Hou Mei Yuan Pan Mee is very famous among worker that work around Bukit Jambul, it always pack with people during lunch time even under hot sun and shielded by big tree. Not only Pan Mee is available, other food such as Dim Sum, Rojak and mobile hawker Mua Ci.
You need to place your ordered by filling in order sheet with an option of either dry or soup, size from small to XXL and the small is really small. 2 types of noodle available for selection, either flat or thin noodle which both are the same type of Pan Mee.
Soup Pan Mee served with 2 fish ball, pork mince and one type of leaf. The soup is just normal and the thin pan mee is really hard.
Dry Pan Mee served the same ingredients, Pan Mee mix with dark sauce and Ikan Bilis which came out to be little more flavor compare to soup Pan Mee but still the same hardness of the pan mee.
It was quite disappointed as we really don’t like the hard pan mee and the plain soup.

Another visit to Red Garden since our last visit for Tua Yi Curry Fish Head and Sushi Meet Salmon at East Meet West month back. Supposingly our plan is to go for Soul Kitchen but the shop was close on that day so we have no choice but to walk to the nearest hawker stall Red Garden.
Briyani Stall, it does sell various type of Briyani rice such as Vegetable, Egg, Fish, Cuttlefish, Chicken, Mutton, Prawn or Mix Seafood, price range between RM4.50 to RM8.00.
I ordered Briyani Mutton RM7, Briyani rice is made with few types spices and accompanied with mutton. It served in a small pot with Briyani rice and mutton all squeeze into it, it look to be very small portion but in actual fact it was quite big and well enough for one person consumption. Even though there is chili in it but it doesn’t taste spicy instead it rich spices flavor is really making the rice delicious, mutton is tender and soft.
Pan Mee, literally translate to flat flour noodle where a chunk of dough is kneaded using machine into flat strips. We as well call Pan Mee as Sick People eat noodle because it was plain and healthy, and it doesn’t have strong taste as well, same goes to this plate of Pan Mee which taste healthy and normal.
