 Beef Sukiyaki Steamboat

Japanese Omelette Noodle RM13.90, look like a Pataya Fried Rice isn’t it? Personally i feel the sweet sauce use to fried noodle are too much, it is too sweet for us especially the add on sweet sauce on top of fried egg making it has even higher level of sweet taste.

Sajo Cafe Sarawak Kolo Mee at Air Itam Penang

Although I stay in Air Itam area but I never know there is a new restaurant open up until few weeks back, the new restaurant name Sajo Cafe selling Sarawak Kolo mee which you can’t find it anywhere in Penang (as what we know, share with us if you know some where else got). We are so excited as the last try was few years back where my friends bought it from Sarawak and bring it over to KL for us to try during study time. Finally we got the chance to try Sarawak famous Kolo Mee again.
The restaurant is located just beside Air Itam Police Station, parking available at road side or surrounding area. Restaurant is very small and simple, without any renovation as well but it do have air-con.

We had Lime Juice and Milo, I like the Milo very much. Very generous amount of Milo are added on top, it remind of those old time where I eat Milo without any water. Great Memory!

Each has it very own unique flavor such as Tokyo Ramen which use classic chicken with seafood broth, Tonkotsu is classic pork bone broth, Miso is classic pork bone broth with Japanese soybean paste while Black is classic pork bone broth with Japanese fish powder and fragrant garlic oil. Each type of Ramen originally served with pakchoy, char siew, sweet corn and spring onions while add on ingredient which called as ultimate will have extra braised pork belly, egg, Japanese fish cake and seaweed. Normal Ramen range from RM9.90 to RM11.90 while ultimate Ramen RM15.90 to RM17.90.

Ultimate Tokyo Ramen RM15.90, classic chicken with seafood soup with Japanese fish powder and fragrant garlic oil, served with char siew, braised pork belly, lava egg, Japanese fish cake, seaweed, pakchoy, sweet corn and spring onions. The chicken with seafood broth has natural sweetness where you can taste the original flavor of chicken and seafood, it taste very smooth and delicious and most important we don’t feel thirsty even finish up the whole bowl. Ramen is springy and smooth as well.
Ultimate Black Ramen

Ultimate Black Ramen RM17.90, classic pork bone broth with Japanese fish powder and fragrant garlic oil, served with char siew, braised pork belly, lava egg, Japanese fish cake, seaweed, pakchoy, sweet corn and spring onions. Black Ramen soup has much more stronger flavor as the fish powder and fragrant garlic oil boost up it flavor very much, we feel that the bonito powder (fish powder mention above) slightly overpower the natural sweetness of the broth.
Ultimate Tokyo Ramen

Aburi Char Siew RM11.90, perfectly marinated pork is soft and succulent while the pickle onion gave some sweetness to the pork meat, served with spring onion on top. It taste savory, sweet and mild sourness.
