Restoran Lima Tingkat Pork Noodle

Restoran Lima Tingkat located in Nibong Tebal, inside have hawker stall selling Chicken Rice, Duck Rice, Bah Kut Teh, Chu Cha and Pork Noodle which I going to review.

亚富猪肉粉,亚富Pork Noodle~RM4 not only serve noodle, instead they do provide bee hun, maggie mee and seafood porridge.
A bowl of mee cover with minced pork meat, slice pork meat, pork intestine, port kidney and pork liver. Very generous.
Well control of cooking time make all the meat so tender and delicious but the soup is not so tasty as per expected.

Chili with lard, it just nice and not over spicy.

Another way to eat is to add a lot of Chili into the soup to make it spicy, if you are spicy lover then this is the best way to enjoy this pork noodle.

Overall, this Pork Noodle is not bad but I going to review another stall of Pork Noodle in Parit Buntar which is really delicious, Stay Tune.

Ben’s Diner Restaurant

Ben’s Diner Restaurant was located near to Sunway Tunas, you need to drive slow to look for this restaurant as it don’t have fancy signboard or any sign that represent itself as restaurant.

I guess this should be Ben motorbike which keep inside the restaurant, small restaurant with around 10 tables. Quite noisy during full house and suprisingly they close on Saturday.

Orange Juice RM4, pure fresh orange juice.

Mushroom Soup RM4, Creamy mushroom soup is very tasty and must try.

Chicken Combo RM17, rosemary flavor chicken sausage & chicken leg, served with creamy mushroom sauce, vegetable and mashed potatoes.
Chicken drumpstick is tender soft and elasticity of sausage is extreme, setting up a perfect combination with tasty mushroom sauce.

BBQ Pork Ribs RM20, sweet sauce cook with BBQ pork ribs served with boiled chat potatoes & vegetable.
Generous amount of ribs served with sweet sauce, ribs is soft and juicy.

Receipt, the price is consider cheap as the portion is big and food is delicious.

I rate Ben’s Diner Restaurant 5 star, definetely will visit again for other dishes.

Eighteen Wine and Dine Western Food Restaurant at Krystal Point

Eighteen Wine & Dine is well recommended by friend, so we decide to give it a try during our Friday 2 hours lunch.
This restaurant was located at Krystal Point, you can easily get parking beside the road or further up there is a parking lot.

Good ambient and nice decoration.

They have a wide range of wine for your selection.

Set Lunch Promotion RM19.80, which come with Drink, Soup, Main Course and Dessert. You may add RM5 for their Signature Dish. We ordered two set lunch, RM19.80 each.

They should have heated the bun before serve and the butter is just normal butter, butter portion is small as well.

Seafood Tomato Soup, few small pieces of fish meat cooked in homemade spicy tomato soup. Just normal but prefer if they could add more fish meat or squid.

Soup of the day.

Aglio-Olio Prawn Pasta, Pasta cook with white prawn, garlis, red cut chili and olive oil. I was quite dissapointed with the pasta.
Too much olive oil added and the small little prawn is not even fresh, not to mention the pasta is hard.

Seafood Tomyam Pasta, Stir fried seafood in rich and spicy Tom Yam Paste, It not really taste like Tom Yam instead is more toward heavy tomato taste. Normal.

What I like is the Durian Air Cream, free flow of ice cream if you order set lunch.

I selected the wrong set lunch or this restaurant is overrated? Anyhow, there is a lot good pasta around Penang.

Dry Bak Kut Teh Good Master Restoran

Has not visited Good Master Bak Kut Teh for at least half year, previously never miss to eat Bak Kut Teh every week after badminton.

Suprisingly, I don’t take raw garlic at all but when come to Bak Kut Teh a lot of raw garlic with black soy sauce is a must.

Oyster Sauce Vegetable, boiled vegetable with oyster sauce and fried garlic on top. Vegetable is crunchy but less oyster sauce make it no flavor, luckily some garlic on top help to boost a little bit of taste.

Dry Bak Kut The (Medium ~ RM20), the biggest difference with normal Bah Kut Teh obviously, the lack of herbal soup. Inside this claypot is more or less the same ingredients with soup Bak Kut Teh, pork, pork ball, pork stomach..etc.
What make Dry Bak Kut Teh is black soy sauce, dried chili, dried squid, lady finger and some secret ingredient.
Honestly, 6month before it was the best dry Bak Kut Teh in the town but not the same story now, was quite dissapointed this round as the flavor is not that strong compare to before.

Bak Kut Teh best friend, You Cha Kuih.

We did request for a small plate of Bah Kut Teh soup but they reject, reason because Dry Bak Kut Teh don’t provide soup anymore, then how are we going to dip You Cha Kuih and the rice is so dry…Request and request again, finally they give a small plate, then told us no more on next round. Dissapointed..!

Price is reasonable

Rate 2 star only due to poor quality of Bak Kut Teh and Service.

Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum Ipoh

Ming Court was another famous Dim Sum in “Dim Sum Street” Ipoh, where the same street you found Foh San and Yoke Fook Moon.

It kinda hard to get table so table sharing is a norm here, when you sat down those aunty will “throw” everything into your table, just make sure those are what you want and they mark it correctly.

Prawn Dumpling skin is yellow color and transparent but it was very small. Bah Kut is soft and juicy.

Fish Ball (Top Left and Center), it just taste normal. Siew Mai(Top Right) and Har Kao(Bottom) are just typical Dim Sum, Har Kao is tasty with big prawn inside and and transparent skin.

Some deep fried Dim Sum, Deep Fried Spring Roll(Top Right), Fried Prawn Roll and Dumpling (Bottom) is crispy and a lot small prawn inside, take together with mayonnaise is perfect.

Wu Kok(Top Right) was made of crispy yam skin and stuffed with char siew. Porridge(Bottom) is just normal.

Chee Cheong Fun stuff with Char Siew and Prawn, Sambai on the side. Nothing special.

This is what we ordered for 3 persons.

Receipt, price is reasonable but the portion is very very small compare to other Dim Sum Restaurant.
