Swez Brasserie Buffet at Eastin Hotel Penang
Finally I step into Eastin Hotel after reading so many positive review on their lunch buffet, theme is Vicacious Vietnam during my visit which is March but most of the dishes prepare is toward international and only few Vietnamese dishes. Price of RM45++ for adult, reasonable since it has lot of variety and it located in Hotel.
Swez Brasserie is the restaurant in Eastin Hotel located at ground floor, decoration toward white color which gave a clean and comfort feeling, table layout is spaces same goes to the food counter where all food is properly label and decorated.
Salad Counter and Bread Counter offer lot of choices, especially the dressing option for salad is just too much that you can’t try all.
One corner special made for Vietnamese food consist of various raw marinated food that pretty delicious.
The Vietnamese famous snack is they Popiah, it use a transparent skin to wrap the vegetable, it is very refreshing and delicious.
Cold Dish Corner, I finally saw the long awaited Smoked Duck Meat that has been positively review by Criz who is a food blogger as well. Smoked duck meat is extremely soft and flavorful.
Proceeding further is main dish, such as Ratatouille Vegetable

All main dish are well presented in one whole stretch and always heated, the variety of main dish is definitely enough for a lunch buffet as most of the item is delicious.
Shrimp on Sugar Cane and Deep Fried Imperial Spring Rolls, Shrimp on Sugar Cane is soft and juicy but not much shrimp flavor while the Spring Rolls is almost the same as our deep friend spring roll.
Curry Dough and Deep Fried Yam Cake
One Bite Dish, a mouth bite dishes that is extremely eye catching, simple and yet delicious.
Fruit Counter has quite a number of selection such as orange, pineapple, watermelon, honey dew, banana and papaya, fruit is fresh and served on top of ice to maintain it freshness.
The fruit plate is nicely decorated with strawberry rather than plain fruit that look very boring, the small and detail enhancement create a very positive image to me.
Various type of Nyonya Kuih available as well, the Nyonya Kuih just taste normal as it doesn’t has very authentic flavor.
Banana in Rich Coconut Sauce, the coconut milk is concentrated and it not to my liking as it too rich in flavor.
Five different ice cream flavor available for selection, ice cream brand is nestle and it has lot of dressing to go along.
Moving toward dessert bar, lot of different type of dessert served here and it all well presented.

Sticky Rice Cake, it surprisingly doesn’t has any sweet taste instead it taste salty.
Started with Salad follow with one big bowl of main dish.
It was a great buffet served here with reasonable price, food is pretty good and the environment I like the most.
