Pasta are cook to el-dente while the Pesto taste extremely well, usually Pesto sauce tends to taste strong but in Frienscino they make it to mild flavor that allow me to easily finish one whole bowl of Pasta.

Curry Mee and Roti Babi at Kedai Kopi New Cathay Sin Kok Thye Penang

We discover a new kopitiam located at Jalan Burma which has great variety of Penang delicacy. A lot of you must be laughing at us since this kopitiam has been there for many many years but only now we discover, feel so shy. Anyhow, we rarely venture into Pulau Tikus unless we have free time on Saturday. The kopitiam always very pack especially Saturday breakfast time, very hard to get table and every time we need to wait for at least 10 minutes to get an empty table.

Pancake is one of the signature dish, a combination of egg, banana, raising and flavor make the pancake so delicious, it doesn’t taste too sweet instead it has mild sauteed taste with strong egg aroma.

Curry Mee, i just realize this hawker same with Air Itam Famous Curry Mee. It is one of my favorite curry mee where the cuttlefish “jiu hu” extremely delicious and add on extra chili paste make it taste so good.

Shervone Cake 2.0 Bakery Cafe Shop Penang Pulau Tikus

Shervone Cakes 2.0 should sound familiar to us since this is the 2nd shop where the first one located at Bayan Baru Krystal Point, famous for it custom made cake. The new Shervonce Cake 2.0 is located at Pulau Tikus, right beside the main street, limited parking available in front of the shop but you may park across the road and walk over. The restaurant serving great variety of cake, chocolate and food but that not all instead they do have event decoration items as well, you may want to check out their shop for your upcoming birthday party.

During our visit we try whole lot of thing started with drink like Lemonade, Hot Tea, Affogato and Cappuccino.

Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, al dente spaghetti with fragrance garlic oil and garlic slice, it is one of the best dishes we had where we truly enjoy the garlic fragrance and smooths of the texture.

Spaghetti Bolognese Chicken, spaghetti cook in tomato paste with chicken mince. We found that the tomato paste too dry which would taste better if more sauce will added.

Briyani Spice Rice with Chicken, perfectly marinated chicken grilled to perfection top with almond flake side with fresh salad and fried rice. The small bowl of chili paste that goes well with the fried rice, chicken is juicy and pack a punch of flavor.

The Long Meal which has gotten it name from all the long ingredients found on the plate. The first on the left is egg, follow by sausage and chicken wrap.

Penang Laksa is the owner secret recipe pass down from his parent with some tweak to modernize the traditional laksa, instead of using ordinary Laksa noodle he selected Angelhair spaghetti which claim to have better texture and flavor. The soup is full of fish meat came with assorted fresh vegetable such as cucumber, mint leave, onion, lettuce and chili.

We found assorted chocolate on the shelve and we will inform that they just started making chocolate by their own starting this year, another milestone hit by the owner which is a new challenge to him and his wife. They started making more and more dessert and now home made chocolate is on the dessert line, great variety of chocolate available for selection such as Rum Raisin, Peanut Butter Rocher, Curry Banan Chocolate, Matcha Choclate, Crunchy Wasabi…etc

Sa Rang Chae Korean Restaurant Tanjung Tokong Penang

Lately we are addicted to Korean food after watching Running Man, always miss the spicy, sweet and sour Kimchi soup. Recently we went to Daorae and we find it still one of the best Korean Restaurant in Penang compare to Che Go Korean BBQ Restaurant, Bee Won Korean Restaurant and Aza Aza Starvil Korean Barbeque. This time we going to try another Korean Restaurant that located at Gottlieb Road and it has been there for quite some time. Sa Rang Chae Korean Restaurant.

Spicy Kimchi Stew with Pork RM45, Extra Instant Noodle RM5. The Kimchi pork does come with glass noodle but our favorite still Instant Noodle hence we add on one piece which cost us RM5. On top of glass noodle it does have pork meat, vegetable, chili and most important Korean rice cake. The Kimchi soup is pretty flavorful but lack of some spiciness and sweetness compare to our all time favorite Daore Korean BBQ Restaurant.

Stir Fried Noodle with Shrimp and Vegetable RM35, we really love the springy texture of Korean glass noodle which fully absorb the soup, it taste sweet and pretty strong pepper taste.

A series of side dishes that allow to be top up for 2 times only, that is enough for two of us . Overall side dishes is pretty delicious and i like it Kimchi very much.
