S.Wine Restaurant is a newly open restaurant at Ground Floor of Queensbay Mall, offering wide range of pork cuisine. This will be my favorite restaurant as everything about pork is always my favorite. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has great visibility from external of Queensbay Mall.
Lemon Honey RM9 with extremely generous slice of Lemon and one big cup of honey.
Warm Pork Confit, Watermelon & Lychee Salad with Asian Greens & SPicy Lemongrass Vinegrette RM38, big chunks of pork belly roasted to perfection served with fresh and crunchy vegetable is just awesome, sweetness of watermelon create a balanced taste between pork and vegetable.
Grilled Pork Neck & Green Mango Salad with Pomelo, Asian Greens & Spicy Salty Lime Dressing RM28, pork neck are nicely marinated to flavor served with assorted fresh vegetable and one of the highlight is the basil leave which has very strong flavor and spicy salty lime dressing taste pretty good.
Chargrilled Jerk Pork Belly, 6 Hour Sous Vide & Served with Lychee Pineapple Salad & Green Goddess Sauce RM30. Pork belly has firm texture and caramelized on the fat layer give a bit of chewy texture, due to the high content of fat hence every single bite are fill with pork lard fragrance.

Gurney Paragon extend their food court to even bigger and more vendor, with that said, more food variety are now available at one of the best food court in Penang mall. Great variety of hawker food can be found here such as Laksa, Lobak, Chicken Rice…etc, other than that Korean Food, Japanese Food, Mediterranean Food, Chinese Food, Thai Food…etc all available here.
Appetizer such as Cup type Jiu Hu Char that has crispy cup that hold stir fried vegetable with dried squid, the cup itself is edible and it taste real good.
Another appetizer is Popiah, deep fried to crispy skin and dipping with chili sauce is the best.
Roasted pork that is juicy with crispy skin, it has the right level of saltiness and best to eat together with Char Koay Teow.
Yummy Yummy Char Koay Teow, Penang signature hawker food that should not miss. Normally food court Char Koay Teow taste just normal but the one found here are pretty good, i won’t say the best but it is a decent one.

Welcome to The BARN Gurney Paragon, we are getting excited today with the limited offer of Tomahawk Steak. What so special? That steak as big as Axe and as heavy as well, it weight almost 1kg. We always excited to visit The BARN as we are pork lover and their pork always da best, check previous review of The BARN Wine Bar that we eat whole lot of finger licking pork.

Cold Cuts RM55, various type of cold cut include 4 types of premium meat, served with mix of olives and balsamic vinegar.
Candy Bacon Platter RM29, generous amount of nice crispy bacon coat with a layer of sweet sauce. I love it so much.
Tapas Combo Platter RM68, a combination of Satay, Ham, Potato Wedges, Button Mushroom, Roasted Pork and Chicken Wing. Best tapas to goes along with beer, a plate of Tapas Combo is good enough for sharing with a couple of friend with a few cup of beer. Deep fried Button Mushroom taste awesome, it is something special that we never try before. Other deep fried items are as good, not greasy at all.
Cheese Platter RM45, two different type of cheese, assorted dried fruits, grape, celery and biscuit combination. Well, we found the cheese to be too generous as we 9 person only consume half of it, it will be good if more biscuit provided as applying a thick layer of cheese with add on dried fruits on top of biscuit is perfect combination. The BAR°N first outlet outside of KL are now opening at Gurney Plaza Penang, the bar and restaurant serving not only great variety of food with local influence dishes but also wide range of wine and other alcoholic drinks. The BAR°N occupying the shop lot which previously run by Chicago Ribs House, now it has a brand new renovation that demonstrated simple and relax environment. Outdoor seating are available along with other restaurant on gurney walkway between gurney plaza and gurney hotel, we prefer to sit inside with air-conditional and comfortable chair. One side of the wall are fill with wine collection, to those wine lover this must be heaven.
The BAR°N menu consist of only two pages but it pack a punch of food, it has pretty much everything about Western/Italian food and next page are full with alcoholic drink Cocktail, Beer, Wine and Mocktails.

Beef Scotch Egg RM24, Marinated minced Beef coated with breadcrumb served on a bed of fresh salad. Beef are marinated to flavor, it has crispy outer layer with soft and juicy bite of egg and minced beef.
