Gartien Uji Matcha Pineapple Cake

Gartien is launching a new flavor of pineapple cake few days back, a brand new flavor of “Uji Matcha Pineapple Cake“. Again, they have brand new packaging for every season or new product launch. In conjunction with the Uji Matcha Pineapple Cake launch, brand new packaging of white box illustrated basic ingredients of pineapple cake are use as decoration of the box.

Gartien use best and original ingredients of flour, butter and pineapple as their ingredients for pineapple cake. Gartien select the best pineapple and ship freshly to their kitchen for preparation, ingredients are freshly prepare in their open kitchen that has great control of cleanliness and quality.

What make the new pineapple cake different from previous version? We notice darker color with a little bit green color on it crust and that is the Matcha powder, high quality Matcha are imported from Uji city in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Matcha produce at Uji City are known for premium quality and free from any preservative or coloring.

The selling price for each box consist of 6 pieces are RM36 nett, it is a perfect gift or souvenir to friends or family.

Equatorial Hotel Penang Ramadhan Buffet

It not long ago from my last visit to Equatorial Hotel and I am return here again for Ramadhan Buka Puasa Buffet. Restaurant is very spaces and nice decorated, ample of walking space in between and at the buffet counter. Right in front of the restaurant is a big pool with lot of coconut tree that look like a beach, live band performance during our visit but to enjoy you need to sit outside which is very comfortable as well.

Price: RM120 nett per adult, RM60 nett per child

Assorted Keropok and bakery. There is 5 different type of Keropok and all are fresh and crispy. Assorted bread and bun are available as well but seem like not much people eating since it is dinner buffet anyway.

Penang Eastern & Oriental Hotel are celebrating the holy month of Ramadhan with Sumptuous Buka Puasa Buffet at Sarkies, Ramadhan Buffet promotion start from 18-June until 16-July 2015. Adult RM128.30 nett while Children RM55.95 nett. Compare to other Ramadhan Buffet, Sarkies theme more toward International Buffet where you can find some Chinese Food, Indian Food and Japanese Food although majority and specialty food still focus on Malay Food.

Over to Sushi counter there is over 6 different type of Sushi available and all are freshly prepared, another 3 different type of Sashimi also available for selection.

Seafood On Ice, oyster with salsa sauce, prawn, green oyster, muscle and crab.

G Hotel Ramadhan Buffet is held on Sesame & Soy which i visited in 2012 for Chinese Food Fine Dining, this round we going for buffet. During Ramadhan month buffet price list as below. The restaurant still remain one of the best decorated and well keep restaurant, I like the cozy environment with super view to hotel lobby.

Hotel Vistana Authentic Malay Delicacy Ramadhan Buffet

This is my very first visit to Hotel Vistana and this round we going to try their Ramadhan Buffet, I am very impress with the “Warung” style decoration and placement, every decoration great demonstrated Malay style which nicely fit the Ramadhan Buffet Theme. The Ramadhan Buffet starting from 19 June until 16 July 2015, RM65 Nett for Adult and RM30 Nett for Children. It consider one of the cheapest buffet you can find in town for a complete buffet line. Great variety of authentic Malay cuisine can be found here.

They served all hot dishes in big bowl and heated, it pretty much like eating Malay economy rice but the portion is much more bigger and more variety.

Rojak is one of the best dish on the buffet line, whole lot of different fruits available and the rojak sauce taste pretty good as well.

Pembuka Selera (Appetizer): Kerabu Ulam, Kerabu Mangga, Acar Jelatah, Tempe Ikan Bilis, Kerabu Sotong, Kerabu Ayam, Kerabu Taugeh, Kerabu Sayur, Kerabu Ikan Masin, Tauhu Sumbat dan Kuah Kacang, Telur Masin & Ikan Masin Goreng

Ice Cream Topping

Barbeque Ikan Pari, Chicken, Beef and Lamb served with the special sauce which taste spicy and sour. I like the Ikan Pari which is nicely cook to perfection and the marinated sauce taste good.

Ayam Goreng Berempah is one of my favorite as well, it is nicely marinated and deep fried to perfection. I eat a few pieces of it and dipping with curry sauce and Nasi Minyak making it taste awesome.
